I opened this practice in Leander in 2007 and in those ten plus years I have enjoyed serving our community. I have sponsored many of the local sports teams, I spent a term on the Chamber of Commerce board, I have participated in many health fairs and school programs and volunteer regularly in a local clinic.
We understand that choosing a dentist is an important and difficult decision for many people and we thank you for your interest in Tucker Family Dentistry. Our aim is that each patient feels that his health and wishes are important to my staff and me. Every decision is based on the premise that the quality of your life is the most important factor. To that end we have chosen technology that reduces your paperwork and the time a dental visit requires as well as being safer for both the patient and the environment. In building our office we were mindful of the most common complaints I have heard in my past practice. We have a relaxed, friendly setting, quieter equipment, television screens for education and entertainment at every chair, and we offer two levels of conscious sedation. My staff will treat every person with respect and I will provide the highest quality of work with the minimum of discomfort.
I love being a dentist. My goal is to provide patients with superb care while ensuring that they feel comfortable and well informed regarding their oral health. As a general dentist I enjoy treating patients of all ages and varying dental needs. A smile is a beautiful way to communicate happiness, and I want all of my patients to have healthy smiles.
I grew up in Wisconsin, then moved to Utah where I earned my bachelors of science at Brigham Young University. Next it was on to Philadelphia, where I graduated with honors from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry with a doctorate in dental medicine (DMD.) My family now calls Austin home and we love it here. I have enjoyed working at Tucker Family Dentistry since 2010. When I am not working I enjoy biking, yoga, gardening, and traveling.
